Ability Fabricators is a Concord, Ontario manufacturer of custom stainless steel process equipment. We design, engineer, fabricate and finish equipment for pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food and beverage, chemical, Cosmetics and OEM customers across the Greater Toronto Area, Canada and the U.S.
We build custom blenders, reactors, tanks, silos, hoppers, conveyors, IBCs and pressure vessels, including jacketed and agitated designs. Projects range from single units to large multi-component systems. See our stainless steel products for examples.
316L has better corrosion resistance because of its molybdenum content and is usually specified for product-contact surfaces. 304 is commonly used for frames and non-wetted parts. We recommend a grade based on your product, cleaning chemicals and hygiene requirements.
We use crevice-free welds and sanitary surface finishes (Ra 0.5 µm or better), with electropolishing where required. Designs avoid dead legs, and equipment can be designed for Clean-in-Place and Sterilize-in-Place cycles without disassembly. Designs follow cGMP and FDA requirements for hygienic, cleanable equipment.
Yes. Our in-house engineers produce 3D models and fabrication drawings, check the design for sanitary construction and weld access, and confirm the equipment fits your facility layout before fabrication begins. We also offer design and engineering and consulting as separate services.
